Many thanks to the fine people and products that support me throughout my endeavors.
Petzl -A French, still privately owned company, this brand’s number one concern is safety. HOW WOULD WE RUN AT NIGHT WITHOUT THE BEST HEADLAMPS IN THE WORLD? Not to mention, Petzl donated a slew of lamps to runners in Cuba as part of a One World Running trip.
La Sportiva: Italians know how to make good trail running shoes. I started wearing the Lycans the day they came out and haven’t taken them off since!
Honey Stinger – You know what they say: ultrarunning is more of an eating contest with a little bit of running. Slurping down Honey Stinger gels is honestly something I look forward to when I toe the line at a race. I genuinely love the gels. During CCC 101km in 2017, I ate 35 Honey Stinger gels. I was never nauseous, never bonked, and I won. Honest to god, a large part of my effort was staying on top of my calories and Honey Stinger gels allowed me to do just that. Race after race after race!
I WOULD BE FACEDOWN IN A DITCH IF IT WEREN’T FOR MY COACH DAVID ROCHE
